Government to reach out to far-flung Negros Occidental communities

Following the recent joint Provincial Peace and Order Council and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council meeting at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City, Department of the Interior and Local Government-Negros Occidental (DILG-Negros Occidental) director, Atty. Ferdinand Panes, announced plans to reach out to far-flung communities.
He explained, the “Serbisyo Caravan” will travel the province and extend government services to those living in far-flung areas.
Meanwhile, DILG cluster leader Fatima Daiz gave a brief presentation on the retooled community support program as a means of intensifying good governance. In addition, Lt. Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte of the Philippine Army 303rd Infantry Brigade gave a security situation update.
Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) deputy director, Police Lt. Colonel Adrian Acollador, also presented the departments’ operations and accomplishments./WDJ
