Tickets for the Dinagyang 360 tribes competition, an event of the annual Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City, will be available starting on December 9. According to tickets and stages in-charge Allan Tan, there are around 3,600 tickets available ranging in price from P1,500 to P2,200.
“Dinagyang 360 is an arena theater-type performance,” explained tribes and artistic committee chair Eric Divinagracia. “The change is also to democratize the limited space in four stages.”
“The concept revolves around three aspects including indigenous culture of Ati; devotion to the Santo Niño; and dagyang, or merry-making,” he added. “We have to showcase Ilonggo values portrayed in bountiful harvest or helping one another, among others.”
Meanwhile, Tan noted, the Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc. (IFFI) will partner with Department of Tourism-accredited establishment to allow them to sell tickets, along with making bulk purchases available.
“Tickets will also be available at city hall and at the IFFI,” he added.
