PSL Supercup kicks off today

The Philippine Superliga (PSL) Supercup is scheduled to formally kickoff today at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City. The Philippine women’s national volleyball team is set to compete against three other teams, namely PSL Shine, PSL Sparkle, and the University of Tsukuba.
The competition begins with PSL Shine taking on the national team at 5:00 p.m. F2 Logistics Cargo Movers middle hitter Abigail Maraño will be leading the national squad against a team led by Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, opposite hitter for the Petron Tri-Activ Spikers. Meanwhile, later in the day, PSL Sparkle, led by Cignal HD Spikers setter Alohi Robins-Hardy, will play the University of Tsukuba at 7:00 p.m.
Matches will be played the following Thursday and Friday, with closing ceremonies scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
In addition, the University of the East will also be hosting a friendly match tomorrow./ASC, WDJ
