A motorcyclist was injured Sunday afternoon after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed in Toboso’s Barangay Tabun-ac.
Police identified the operator as 32-year-old Melbert Mata, a resident of Barangay Daga in Cadiz City.
Based on investigation by Toboso municipal police, Mata was heading towards San Carlos City when he lost control of his motorcycle, which resulted in him crossing into the opposite side of the lane.
The vehicle then struck a passenger bus that was traveling in the opposite direction.
Mata was immediately rushed to the Vicente Gustilo District Hospital in Escalante City after suffering numerous injuries to his body.
The motorcycle was eventually impounded by the Toboso Municipal Police Station./DGB, WDJ
