Barotac Nuevo team wins San Carlos City football invitational

The Barotac Nuevo Football Team won the 27th Pintaflores Football Invitational over the weekend in San Carlos City. In addition, members of the team also won a number of individual awards including Adrian Diaz taking Most Valuable Player, Mel Anthony Baylon winning Best Defender, Bryan Bedia – Best Goalkeeper, and Alex John Doctora – Best Striker.
Also making up the team were Zedric Marben Bance, James Deo Belgira, Archie John Belluga, June Louie Biclar, Ariel John Biñas, Francis Adrian Botavara, Justin Clavaron, Elijah Noel Gabata, Fhen Jhon Gudio, Terjohn Kyle Bretaña, Vincent Flores, Kenneth Vince Lecoto, Lance Andrei Besana, and Karlo Joshua Lustan.
Last month, Bacolod Tay Tung High School claimed the U-18 category of the 27th Pintaflores Volleyball Invitational following a 25-11, 25-18, 25-18 straight set victory over Sipaway District selection at the San Carlos City Auditorium.
The annual festival, which came to a close yesterday, is punctuated by dancers decked out in body paint and flamboyant floral costumes./ASC, WDJ
