Bago City Invitational Fancy Drill competition takes place today

As part of Bago City’s annual Cinco de Noviembre observance, which begins today, the 11th Bago City Invitational Fancy Drill competition is set to take place throughout the day. Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and Citizen Army Training units from eight local schools are scheduled to participate with a street competition in the morning and an arena competition in the afternoon at the Bago City Coliseum.
Among those competing include Bacolod City National High School (BCNHS), Domingo Lacson National High School, and STI-West Negros University of Bacolod City; Lopez Jaena National High School and Minoyan National High School of Murcia; Bago City’s Ramon Torres National High School; and Kabankalan City’s Southland College.
In addition, Enriqueta Montilla de Esteban Memorial High School of Pulupandan will be looking to defend their title.
First place will receive a P25,000 cash prize.
There will also be special awards given out for Best Marching Unit, Most Disciplined, Best in Uniform, Best Platoon Leader, Best Narration, and Best in Production Number. Each award comes with a P5, 000 cash prize.
Last year, Murcia’s Lopez Jaena National High School came in second place, while BCNHS took third./WDJ
