Region VI-Bacolod finishes second in 3×3 competition

The Region VI-Bacolod girls’ basketball team took second place at the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas 3×3 U-18 Pambansang Tatluhan competition after losing to Region VII-Cebu in the finals earlier this week at Robinsons Place Manila.
The Bacolod City-based side, comprised of Bacolod City National High School athletes Kaye Pesquera, Shalimar Dublar, Hallyza Quiatchon, and Charity Grace Gicana, swept their matches prior to the finals.
Meanwhile, on the boys’ side, Region VI-Iloilo, represented by Santa Clarita International School players Kimrey Servano, Rogelle Alvaladejo, Mon Alfred Pedrajas, and Michael Jose Jayme, closed their campaign with a 12-9 win over Region XII-Midsayap.
They opened the competition with a 17-12 loss to NCRN-Caloocan, followed by a 21-14 defeat to Region V-Legaspi./ASC, WDJ
