NLEX Road Warriors claimed their share of the top spot in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup after their 111-91 victory over the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters last night at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
Manny Harris tallied a triple-double for NLEX with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists; as Jericho Cruz supplied 13 points; Kiefer Ravena and John Paul Erram each added 12 markers; and JR Quiñahan and Negrense forward-center Raul Soyud each earned 10.
Trailing for most of the opening period, the Road Warriors rode on Harris in the second quarter as they erased their deficit and took a 51-49 halftime edge.
NLEX pushed ahead in the third period behind Ravena, Harris, and Quiñahan for a 15-point edge before tallying their largest lead of 111-88 following a triple by Cruz./ASC, WDJ
