Pinoy Youth team takes fourth place

Bacolodnon players led the Pinoy Youth U13B to fourth place in the 8th Asia Pacific Basketball Youth Cup, which came to a close last weekend in Singapore. The team advanced to the semifinals but suffered a narrow 54-53 loss to the Singapore Stingers.
Former St. John’s Institute standout Julio Lorenzo Teruel led eight Bacolod City-based players including Brei Ethaniel Benares, Rafael David Lo, Tony Arly Siglos, Zachary Javelosa, James Alvin Calustre, Alfred Louis Rosales, Max Gabriel Natividad, and Luke Adrie Zapata.
Also making the roster were Ohwen Niño Dayon, Ethan Kaizer Vejerano, Santiago Ma. David, and Dezetto Villanueva./ASC, WDJ
