Brgy. Estefania dominates Street and Arena Dance Competition

Bacolod City’s Barangay Estefania dominated this year’s MassKara Festival Street and Arena Dance Competition with the community winning the barangay category and Estefania Elementary School taking the elementary school title.
In the barangay category, Estefania was also awarded Best in Concept and Best in Choreography; while Estefania Elementary School was awarded Best in Original Music, Best in Choreography, and Best in Concept.
Meanwhile, Barangay Tangub, last year’s champion, was named runner-up in the barangay division, along with being awarded Best in Original Music, Best in Costume, and Best in Mask.
Education and Training Center School III (ETCS III) came in second to Estefania Elementary School and won Best in Mask and Best in Costume.
In the secondary school level, MG Medalla Integrated School was crowned the winner and took home Best in Original Music, Best in Choreography, and Best in Concept; while Luisa Medel National High School came in second place and was named Best in Mask and Best in Costume.
ETCS II and Mandalagan National High School won last year’s elementary school and secondary school divisions, respectively./WDJ
