UP wins back-to-back men’s football titles

Anton Guarina scored the decisive goal to give the University of the Philippines (UP) their second straight University Games men’s football crown following their 1-0 win over National University last Saturday at the University of San Agustin field in lloilo City.
“This group is a tight group,” said UP head coach Andres Gonzales. “They really support each other very well on and off the pitch.”
“I guess that also help when we play,” he added.
UP advanced to the finals following a 2-1 win over the University of St. La Salle in the semifinals./ASC, WDJ
