Negrense player Raymar Jose has been released by Blackwater Elite and will be headed to the Meralco Bolts alongside teammate Allein Maliksi in a trade that has since been approved by PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial.
In exchange, forward Rommel Niño Canaleta and reserve guard Chris Michael Tolomia will be suiting up for the Elite.
The PBA vetoed an earlier proposal where the Bolts would get Jose and Maliksi while the Elite acquire Canaleta, Tolomia, and one second round pick./ASC, WDJ
