21-year-old LCC student crowned MassKara Queen 2019

Trecia Tuquero, a 21-year-old tourism management student at La Consolacion College–Bacolod, was crowned MassKara Queen 2019 earlier this week during coronation night at the Ayala Capitol Central Mall. Aside from the title, she was also named Best in Festival Costume.
Among other winners that night, Chaira Victoria M. Juarez won first runner-up and also took home Miss Supercat and Miss AAB, while Vina Marie S. Peña was named second runner-up.
Notably, MassKara Queen Candidate #10 Queenie Edessa E. Amarante was awarded a number of honors including Miss Photogenic, Best in Swimwear, Best in Gown, and Best in Mardi Gras; along with being named Miss Bioskin, Miss TCL, Miss AirAsia, Miss Ka-Rey Herrera Herbal, and Miss Grab.
In addition, Edwin Benitez, who designed Amarante’s gown, won Best in Gown Design.
Prior to the pageant, during a MassKara Queen press presentation at the Resorts Negrense in Bacolod City’s Barangay Punta Taytay, Candidate No. 3 Moira Abesamis, a 21-year-old tourism management student at the University of St. La Salle, was named “Darling of the Press.”
During coronation night, she also bagged Miss Coke and Miss Novellino./WDJ
