The Motolite Power Builders scored their third straight win in the ongoing 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference with a 25-21, 25-23, 25-14 sweep over the PacificTown-Army Lady Troopers last Saturday night at the San Juan Arena.
Myla Pablo tallied 14 points for Motolite, while Diana Carlos earned a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Maria Lina Molde finished with 10 points.
“Today’s victory was good,” said Motolite coach Godfrey Okumu. “It makes us happy.”
“As I said before, it’s not about being in the ‘Final Four,’ it’s about finishing in what position,” he added. “That’s what we are thinking; that’s what we are looking to work towards.”/ASC, WDJ
