Davao beats Iloilo in the Maharlika League

The Davao Occidental Tigers pulled off an 89-76 win over the Iloilo United Royals in the ongoing Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League over the weekend at the City of Passi Arena in Iloilo.
Iloilo started strong, opening with a 22-16 lead; however, consecutive hits by Davao in the second period gave them a 45-32 halftime lead.
In the second half, after Davao further extended their lead, Iloilo managed to narrow their deficit to 70-67.
Mark Yee, Bonbon Custodio, Joseph Terso, and Angelus Raymundo eventually pushed Davao to its highest lead of 15 points.
Yee finished with a double-double for Davao with 23 points and 16 rebounds, while Yvan Ludovice scored 13 points, and Custodio added 12./ASC, WDJ
