At least P1.2 million worth of suspected shabu was seized yesterday morning after Bacolod City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (BCPO-CDEU) operatives conducted a buy-bust operation in the city’s Barangay 6.
Police identified the arrested suspect as Clint ‘Bukay’ Agsam and Paulo ‘Paw-paw’ Bersuela, both residents of the said area.
BCPO-CDEU team leader, Police Major Ariel Artillero, said the suspects were arrested after they sold one elongated sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover operative in exchange for P1,000.
A search of the suspects yielded a total of 14 elongated and 20 big sachets of suspected shabu with a total combined weight of 100 grams.
Cops also seized a sling bag containing the P1,000 marked money used by the police operatives.
Both suspects are now detained at Police Station 2 on drug-related charges.
The latest bust was the third this month following a P1.3 million seizure in Barangay Banago and P2.5 million confiscation in Barangay 1./DGB, WDJ
