Public urged to be responsible with disposing waste
By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga

Bacolod City officials appealed for the public to be responsible with how they dispose of waste amid the ongoing MassKara Festival. Mayor Evelio Leonardia said, based on his observations, the volume of garbage increases during the festival period.
However, he pointed out, kiosk owners immediately clean up their waste once the festival period is over.
In addition, the mayor also ordered concerned government offices to perform cleaning tasks “double-time” once the celebration ends.
Bacolod City Councilor Cindy Rojas, meanwhile, said the ‘clean as you go’ policy should be followed../DGB, WDJ
