Rojas: I do not aspire for higher office

In response to radio commentator, Atty. Alex Espino, who is said to have “maliciously dragged” the name of Bacolod City Councilor Cindy Rojas during his radio program, the city official posted on social media, “You have announced, on air, that I have declared to run as congresswoman in the next elections.”
“What I don’t understand is if he’s dreaming or feeding him with the wrong information,” she added. “I am happy serving the people of Bacolod as their councilor and I am not aspiring for higher office.”
The city councilor said she has a “really good relationship” with incumbent Bacolod City lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya and called the comment a “crazy, crazy delusional story.”
Watchmen Daily Journal reached out to Espino for comment but he has yet to respond as of press time./DGB, WDJ
