Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led yesterday’s inauguration of a newly-constructed library at the Central Philippine State University-Moises Padilla campus (CPSU-Moises Padilla).
“Education is a very vital component of my administration and it is my priority to strengthen our educational policies,” the governor said. “It is my utmost aspiration that all students, regardless of economic and social status, will have the same level of good quality education.”
CPSU president, Dr. Aladino Moraca, called the school “a steward of agricultural productivity and environmental protection.”
CPSU-Moises Padilla was first established in 1946 as the Negros Occidental Agricultural School.
Also present for the event were Moises Padilla Mayor Ella Garcia-Yulo, Vice Mayor Ian Villaflor, La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor-Mangilimutan, among others./WDJ
