All Bacolod Vendor’s Plaza concerns have been addressed –city official

Bacolod City administrator, Atty. John Orola, yesterday affirmed the city government has addressed the needs of all vendors currently based at the Bacolod Vendors’ Plaza, noting the installation of toilets, lighting, and water lines.
He added, posts in the market have been painted, and further improvements are forthcoming once funds are made available.
The city official appealed for understanding from plaza occupants.
Last month, sidewalk vendors, along with those occupying ‘Masa Mart’ by Central Market, were relocated to the Bacolod Vendors’ Plaza as part of the city’s road clearing operations.
Aside from the facility itself, vendors initially complained over a lack of customers.
Meanwhile, amid the ongoing MassKara Festival, Bacolod Traffic Authority Office head, Police Lt. Colonel Luisito Acebuche, a road closure will be implemented along  Father M. Ferrero by the Bacolod Vendors’ Plaza.
