San Carlos City Police Station anti-drug operatives seized a total P600,000 worth of suspected shabu Tuesday afternoon following a buy-bust operation in the city’s Barangay Palampas. Police identified the arrested suspect as 26-year-old Jesser Canaman, a resident of Sitio Tunga in the said barangay.
Based on a report issued by San Carlos City police, the suspect was arrested after he handed over one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P1,000.
A subsequent search yielded a total of two sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 50 grams, suspected drug money amounting to P15,000, a mobile phone, and the suspect’s motorcycle.
Canaman faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at the San Carlos City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
