The Petron Blaze Spikers scored a 25-17, 25-18, 25-13 sweep over the Marinerang Pilipina Skippers in the 2019 Philippine Superliga Invitational Conference last Tuesday at the Santa Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Laguna.
Cherry Rondina top-scored for Petron with 18 points on 17 attacks, a block, and 14 excellent digs; while Chlodia Cortez, Mary Remy Palma, and Toni Rose Basas each chipped in seven markers; and Angel Legacion contributed 18 excellent sets.
In other results, the Cignal HD Spikers pulled off a 25-18, 25-23, 25-14 win over the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors; while the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers came from behind in their 15-25, 25-16, 25-13, 25-14 victory over the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers./ASC, WDJ
