After their initial soft opening last week, Magikland, the first outdoor theme park in the Visayas, is preparing for their second soft opening, which begins tomorrow, October 4, and runs throughout the weekend.
The park, located in Silay City’s Barangay Guinhalaran, opens at 11:00 a.m. and closes at 8:30 p.m.
According to Aton Land and Leisure Inc. President Reynaldo P. Bantug, last week’s soft opening attracted many visitors.
He called the theme park “a choice venue.”
The park will also be providing shuttle service from the Ayala Capitol Central Mall, in front of the Fiesta Market; along with SM City Bacolod, by the department store entrance across from Manokan Country.
Last year, Zamperla, an Italian company that supplies attractions for Disneyland, provided twister coaster, sky tower, disk, and family swinger rides. They also sent parts for other attractions, including a 4D theater, arcade, bumper cars, and a haunted house.
A total 12 initial attractions will be up and running for the soft opening include a “Magic Bike,” “Happy Swing,” carousel, “Crazy Surf,” “Crazy Trail,” “Disk’O,” sky tower, and a 25-meter high Ferris wheel known as “The Silay Eye.”
Admission fees range from P280 to P520, with the latter including unlimited rides./WDJ
