Tay Tung dominates NOPSSCEA athletics

Bacolod Tay Tung High School dominated athletics events at the 2019 Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) over the weekend in Bacolod City.
In the secondary division, Antonette Jay Aguillon won gold in the girls’ 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, long jump, 4×100 relay, and 4×400 relay; Krisha Aguillon won gold in the girls’ 4×100 relay and silver in 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash, Ara Rahbea Delotavo won gold in the girls’ 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, 4×100 relay, and 4×400 relay, along with a bronze in the 400-meter dash; Shalthea Delotavo won silver in girls’ 400-meter dash and 800-meter dash; Dona Mae De Leon won gold in the girls’ triple jump and high jump; Jade Cordova won gold in the girls’ 4×400 relay, along with silver in the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles; Biance Seroy won gold in the girls’ 4×100 relay, along with silver in long jump and triple jump; April Anne Dealagdon won gold in the girls; 4×400 relay, along with silver in 1500-meter dash and 3000-meter dash; Arkel Santero won silver in boys’ long jump, triple jump, and high jump, along with bronze in the 4×400 relay; Nathan Jundana won bronze in boys’ long jump and high jump; John Mark Mercado won bronze in boys’ 4×400 relay; and Ranzford Baodan won silver in the boys’ 2K walkathon and bronze in the 4×400 relay.
In the elementary division, Maryal Alfia Siglos won gold in the girls’ 800-meter relay and 1500-meter relay, along with silver in the 400-meter relay; Alessandro Sebastien Subayco won gold in the boys’ 800-meter run, silver in the 400-meter run, and bronze in the 1500-meter run; Dave Recodo won gold in boys’ shot put and discus throw, along with silver in the javelin throw; Adrian Alagaban won gold in boys’ triple jump; Rey Frederick Uy won silver in boys’ triple jump; and Richard Tan won bronze in boys’ 800-meter relay and 4×400 relay.
Meanwhile, Uy, Shenlee Arriesgado, Francis Lamasan, and Adrian Gonzales bagged gold in the boys’ 4×100 relay, while Arriesgado, Alagaban, Gonzales, and Joachim Chuatico won gold in the boys’ 4×400 relay./ASC, WDJ
