A late Monday night bust at a San Carlos City pension house yielded P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu. Police identified the arrested suspects as 27-year-old Guiller Patrick Rigor, 29-year-old Kirk Morris Tambiga, 20-year-old Maxim Laurence Bayawa, 20-year-old Dobielyn Lebumfacil, and 20-year-old Rita Marie Fatima Bocateja, 20.
Authorities also apprehended a 15-year-old girl, whom police have requested not to identify.
San Carlos City police chief, Police Lt. Colonel D’Artagnan Katalbas, Jr., identified Rigor as the target of the operation. Both he and Tambiga are classified as “high-value drug targets.”
Cops moved in after Rigor sold one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer.
A follow-up search yielded a total 120 grams of shabu with a total market value of P1.440 million. Police also recovered several mobile phones, drug paraphernalia, and around P1,500 worth of suspected drug money.
The suspects face illegal drug charges and are presently detained at the San Carlos City Police Station, while the minor was turned over to the city’s social welfare office./DGB, WDJ
