I recently took part in the 1st Negros Ford Media Drive, which began at the Ford showroom in Talisay City, traveling through the city’s Barangay Concepcion, and to Don Salvador Benedicto. One of the perks of the drive was visiting certain places along the way, along with trying authentic dishes.
One of the significant experiences from the event was the chance to visit pineapple farms in the municipality.
Interviews with local farmers revealed how their economic situation has improved with the encouragement of Mayor Marxlene De la Cruz.
Farmers were also in good spirits because there is a demand for their pineapples.
The quality of their pineapples is said to surpass the standard of foreign markets.
Indeed, pineapple farming is changing the economic landscape of Don Salvador Benedicto farmers.
During the event, Ford featured three variations of their Ranger model, namely, the Ranger XLT, Ranger Wildtrack, and Raptor./EC, WDJ
