Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson yesterday assured casual employees whose contracts end on September 30 will be re-hired until December this year.
He said a budget is in place for personnel services.
Meanwhile, Lacson issued a memorandum to all provincial government officials, department and office heads, and employees regarding an increase in travel rates.
Lacson stated, relative to the implementation of Executive Order 77, all local official travel from September 16, 2019 onwards shall observe the prescribed rules, regulations, and rates of expenses.
For official travel within the province, there is an P800 daily travel expense ceiling for overnight stays and a P400 limit on day travel./DGB, WDJ
