Amid the ongoing controversy over supposed “ninja cops” involved in the recycling of illegal drugs, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) director, Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, expressed confidence that no police officer in Negros Occidental involved in the practice.
According to law enforcement official, he will not hesitate to file charges against any personnel found to be involved and will request for their dismissal from service.
In order to ensure no illegal drugs are being recycled, he ordered NOPPO’s provincial crime laboratory to conduct an inventory of seized illegal drugs.
Earlier, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency director, General Aaron Aquino, revealed several sources confirming unscrupulous anti-narcotics agents across the country have either sold seized illegal drugs or used the substances as planted evidence.
