This year’s Negros Trade Fair opened today at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, together with members of the Provincial Board and Association of Negros Producers (ANP) officers and members, led the ceremonial ringing of the bell.
The Negros Trade Fair, now in its 34th year, is the longest running provincial trade fair. The event brings “the best of Negrense cuisine, arts and crafts” to Manila.
A total of 64 exhibitors, including producers and local government units, as well as the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Science and Technology are participating in the five-day event.
“I am a believer of the Negrense talent and products,” the governor said. “Our products can compete both in the local and global markets.”/WDJ
