The University of Santo Tomas (UST) recently scored a 21-11, 21-6 sweep over the University of the Philippines (UP) in the 82nd UAAP women’s beach volleyball season at the Sands at SM by the Bay in Pasay City.
UST’s Babylove Barbon and Gen Eslapor made quick work of UP’s Roselyn Rosier and Euricka Eslapor in the match.
“Kung ano ang experience na nakuha namin sa mga off-season leagues, ‘yun ang ina-apply namin (Whatever experience gained during the off-season, we used in the match),” said Barbon.
In other results, De La Salle University defeated National University, 21-11, 21-4; Far Eastern University beat Ateneo de Manila University, 22-20, 17-21, 15-12; and Adamson University beat the University of the East, 13-21, 21-13, 15-7./ASC, WDJ
