Magikland, the first outdoor theme park in the Visayas, confirmed their soft opening will take place on Friday, September 27. According to Aton Land and Leisure Inc. President Reynaldo P. Bantug, the soft opening will be conducted in phases, from September 27 to 29, October 4 to 6, and October 11 to 13.
Recently, when select guests and members of the media were invited to a sneak peak, Aton Land and Leisure, which broke ground on the project in April 2017, said the rides were sourced from suppliers in Italy and across Asia.
Last year, Zamperla, an Italian company that supplies attractions for Disneyland, provided twister coaster, sky tower, disk, and family swinger rides. They also sent parts for other attractions, including a 4D theater, arcade, bumper cars, and a haunted house.
A total 12 initial attractions will be up and running for the soft opening include a “Magic Bike,” “Happy Swing,” carousel, “Crazy Surf,” “Crazy Trail,” “Disk’O,” sky tower, and a 25-meter high Ferris wheel known as “The Silay Eye.”
The food court and kiosks will also be in operation.
Admission fees range from P280 to P520, with the latter including unlimited rides.
Theme park hours run from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m./WDJ
