The Choco Mucho Flying Titans pulled off a hard-fought 32-34, 25-12, 23-25, 25-18, 15-11 win over the Chef’s Classics Red Spikers in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference last Saturday at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.
Kat Tolentino led the win with 36 points on 28 attacks, five service aces, and three blocks; while Ilongga Shannen Palec added 14 points, while Negrense middle blocker Kim Gequillana finished with a triple-double on 13 points, 14 digs, and 14 excellent receptions.
In the other match, the PacificTown-Army Lady Troopers scored a 25-17, 25-22, 25-18 sweep over the BaliPure Purest Water Defenders.
Honey Royce Tubino delivered 17 points, 10 digs, and six excellent receptions for PacificTown-Army; while Jem Guttierez chipped in 12 markers, half of which came from service aces./ASC, WDJ
