The Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) recently donated a table tennis table to Sum-ag National High School in Bacolod City.
LOPTTA president, Dr. Leonito ‘Diotay’ Lopue, said the donation is their way of further developing the sport in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental. He said another donation is planned for a school in Cadiz City.
Meanwhile, LOPTTA coach Marell Lagunday echoed the sentiment, calling the new equipment a “big boost” to aspiring table tennis players.
School officials also said table tennis is a way to keep students away from developing vices./WDJ
