The Philippine Air Force Lady Jet Spikers recently scored a 25-22, 25-23, 25-20 sweep over the Motolite Power Builders in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at the San Juan Arena.
May Pantino and Aklanon middle blocker Dell Palomata each scored nine points for Air Force, while Joy Cases added eight, Judy Anne Caballejo contributed seven markers, and Wendy Semana delivered 13 excellent sets and three points.
“Ibinalik lang namin ang togetherness, ‘yung lumalaban kami as a team and naka-focus (We brought back togetherness; we fought as a team and focused),” said Air Force head coach Jasper Jimenez. “Siguro yun ang motivation namin na lagi namin pinanghahawakan—sana magtuluy-tuloy na (It is probably the motivation we should always keep—hopefully it continues).”/ASC, WDJ
