Kaya FC-Iloilo is scheduled to play 2019 Philippines Football League home games later this month, September 22 and 25, at the Iloilo Sports Complex in Iloilo City’s La Paz district. The Ilonggo club is expected to meet Philippine Air Force FC on both occasions.
“Personally I’m excited to play our home game in Iloilo again as everyone knows it’s the football hotbed of the country,” Kaya FC head coach Noel Marcaida said in an interview. “It’s always an honor as a coach of a team to represent Iloilo.”
He also pointed out how the club includes players from the Western Visayas on the roster.
“A number of our players are based [in Iloilo City] and from nearby Negros Occidental,” he added. “I am looking forward to these two matches against Air Force and hope we win the games for our Ilonggo fans.”
The upcoming matches will be the third and fourth meetings between the two clubs after Kaya FC won both their earlier games, 5-0./ASC, WDJ
