Motolite comes from behind

to beat Choco Mucho

The Motolite Power Builders came back from two sets down to score a 25-27, 15-25, 25-18, 25-17, 18-16 win over the Choco Mucho Flying Titans last Sunday in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at the San Juan Arena.
Maria Lina Molde tallied a triple-double for Motolite with 22 points off 19 attacks and three blocks, 18 excellent digs, and 10 excellent receptions; while Diana Carlos added 21 markers; Bernadeth Flora nearly scored a triple-double with 15 points, 20 excellent digs, and eight excellent receptions; and Iris Tolenada contributed out 46 excellent sets.
“I believe we fought well—a win is a win,” said Motolite head coach Godfrey Okumu.
In the deciding set, Choco Mucho surged to a 13-10 edge but Motolite managed to force a deadlock at 16-all before Molde broke the deadlock with Flora nailing the game-winner.
In the other match, BanKo Perlas Spikers pulled off a 25-16, 25-12, 16-25, 25-20 victory over BaliPure Purest Water Defenders./ASC, WDJ
