Barangay Ginebra San Miguel are set to face off against the Changwon LG Sakers of the Korean Basketball League tomorrow, September 17, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in what is being dubbed as “Asian Basketball Showdown 2.”
The game is a tune-up for Barangay Ginebra in preparation for the upcoming PBA Governors’ Cup.
The two sides previously met in 2014, with the Korean side winning, 81-76.
Meanwhile, former Barangay Ginebra player Vernon Macklin recently signed with LG Sakers for the 2019-2020 season.
The Changwon LG Sakers finished third in the 2018-2019 Korean Basketball League season but lost in the playoffs to the Incheon Electroland Elephants./ASC, WDJ
