In response to Executive Order No. 70, signed last year by President Rodrigo Duterte, which calls for an inclusive means of sustaining peace, the Negros Occidental Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held their Provincial Poverty Reduction, Livelihood, and Employment Cluster meeting last Tuesday at the Nature’s Village Resort, Talisay City.
During the meeting, TESDA-Region VI Director Gaspar S. Gayona presented convergence action plans and, according to a release, “cited the importance of convergence and inter-cluster collaboration in addressing insurgency.”
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) director, Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, also addressed the event.
“We will do our share to conduct law enforcement operations,” he affirmed. “Let us continue to collaborate so that we can attain the timeline of the president, before 2021, that this country is free from insurgencies.”/WDJ
