Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz recently announced plans are in the works to set aside an area next to the Negros Forest Park, located along South Capitol Road in Bacolod City, for an Association of Negros Producers (ANP) showroom.
“The Negros Forest Park is home to wildlife endemic to Negros and the showroom will showcase Negros products,” he pointed out.
A memorandum of agreement is being drawn up to potentially grant ANP use of the site for 50 years.
Meanwhile, a new site for the Negros First Global Institute of Technology is under consideration near the Fountain Grove area along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road, Diaz added.
He explained the Talisay City property is being donated to the provincial government and the deed of donation is currently being studied./DGB, WDJ
