UAAP men’s basketball kicks off today

The 82nd UAAP men’s basketball season is set to kick off today with a triple header at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The University of Santo Tomas faces the University of the East at 10:30 a.m., the University of the Philippines meets Far Eastern University at 12:30 p.m., while Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) plays Adamson University in the main feature at 4:00 p.m.
Meanwhile AdMU was deemed the “team to beat” as they seek their third straight UAAP championship.
“I know expectations are high for our team and it’s our job to play the best basketball as we can,” said AdMU head coach Thomas ‘Tab’ Baldwin.
Also competing in the competition are De La Salle University and National University./ASC, WDJ
