Pontevedra wins girls’ futsal

The Pontevedra girls’ futsal team captured gold with a 3-1 win over Davao at the 2019 Batang Pinoy national finals, which came to a close over the weekend in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The Pontevedra squad, which was represented by Calvary Baptist Academy, was comprised of Aliexa Mae Casi, Hannah Marie Montalban, Sofia Marie Gelera, Joyce Gemberva, Annica Art Gargar, Ferriella Faye Hamili, Mhyelle Gwyn Soliguen, and Princess Hulguin.
Meanwhile, the Pontevedra girls’ volleyball team finished second after their 21-18, 21-18 loss to General Santos City./ASC, WDJ
