Four Ceres FC players called up for national duty

Several former players also joining the Azkals

Four current Ceres-Negros FC players were called up for national duty as the Philippines men’s football team, the Azkals, are set to begin the second round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds when they play Syria next week, September 5, at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
The Ceres players set to suit up for the Philippines include defender Carli de Murga, midfielders Mike Ott and Stephan Schröck, and striker OJ Porteria.
In addition, former players for the Bacolod City-based club were also called up such as defenders Álvaro Silva and Armani Aguinaldo, along with midfielders Martin Steuble and Patrick Reichelt.
After Syria, the Azkals next face Guam at the Guam FA Field on September 10./ASC, WDJ
