San Beda dominates Benilde in NCAA men’s basketball

San Beda University extended their unbeaten streak in the ongoing 95th NCAA men’s basketball season following an 88-57 domination of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde over the weekend at the San Juan Arena.
Calvin Oftana scored a career-high 27 points for San Beda, along with adding nine rebounds and two steals; while Amiel Cris Soberano converted four triples and finished with 14 markers; James Canlas tallied 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists; and Evan Nelle contributed eight points, six assists, three steals, and three rebounds.
In other results, San Sebastian College-Recoletos scored a 107-90 win over University of Perpetual Help System DALTA-Atlas, while Arellano University pulled off an 87-81 upset over the Lyceum of the Philippines University./ASC, WDJ
