The NLEX Road Warriors are set to reclaim center Michael Miranda from NorthPort Batang Pier in exchange for point guard Juan Miguel ‘Juanmi’ Tiongson.
The trade is currently pending PBA Commissioner’s Office approval.
“We did not want to give up Juami but NorthPort insisted that he be the one included in the deal,” explained NLEX head coach Joseller ‘Yeng’ Guiao. “We offered our second round picks but they insisted on Juami.”
During his earlier stint NLEX, Miranda played his best season under Guiao. During his tenure with TNT KaTropa and Batang Pier, he was often relegated to the bench./ASC, WDJ
