Power co-op awarded a ‘100 percent rating’
The Northern Negros Electric Cooperative (Noneco) was recently recognized at the 50th anniversary celebration for the National Electrification Administration in Metro Manila.
The power co-op won the Paramount Achievement Award for the fifth straight year; the Stellard Award; along with the Advocacy Leadership Award, which went to Noneco officer John Deles.
“I can see the unity and cooperation between the officials and officers,” said Noneco general manager, Atty. Dan Pondevilla. “If there is conflict, employees will lack the drive to be productive workers.”
He also vowed to “exceed their current performance.”
“We will focus on minimizing power interruptions and lowering our rates,” Pondevilla said. “The awards will mean nothing if there [are] still interruptions.”
“We want to address the problem,” he added./DGB, WDJ
