The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers pulled off a 25-18, 25-14, 25-22 sweep over the Cignal HD Spikers last Tuesday in the 2019 Philippine SuperLiga All-Filipino Conference at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.
Kalei Mau top-scored for F2 Logistics with 20 points on 16 attacks, two blocks, and two aces; while Mary Joy Baron added 14 points; and Victorinara Galang chipped in 10 markers.
After easily taking the first two sets, F2 Logistics were tested in the third after Cignal forced a 22-all deadlock before back-to-back hits by Galang and a block from Kim Dy sealed the win.
The win secured F2 Logistics of second place, setting up a quarterfinal meeting with Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cignal earned a No. 5 seed and will face the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers.
In the other match, the Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy scored a 25-15, 29-27, 25-14 win over Marinerang Pilipina Lady Skippers./ASC, WDJ
