Both Ceres-Negros FC and Kaya FC-Iloilo are in action today with 2019 Philippines Football League matches scheduled at the Aboitiz Pitch in Lipa City, Batangas. The two clubs representing the Western Visayas currently lead the league with the Negrense club on top with 28 points and the Iloilo City-based club trailing in second by three points.
Kaya FC takes to the pitch first, facing Green Archers United at 4:00 p.m. In their previous meeting, the Ilonggo side cruised to a 4-0 win at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Later in the day, Ceres FC meets Stallion-Laguna FC at 7:00 p.m. The two sides previously played to a 2-2 draw at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Both clubs are also coming off convincing wins last weekend with Kaya earlier blanking Philippine Air Force FC, 5-2; and Ceres pulling off a 5-2 victory over Mendiola FC./ASC, WDJ
