Fajardo to take series lead

With the 2019 Honda PBA Commissioner’s Cup best-of-seven finals series currently tied 2-2, the San Miguel Beermen will be depending on June Mar Fajardo to give them the edge tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“[In Game 4], June Mar was able to play comfortably inside and that’s what we need from him,” said San Miguel head coach Leo Austria. “The players understand what made us a great team.”
He also expressed his appreciation for the team acknowledging Fajardo’s contributions, noting, “We won seven championships with him as the priority.”
Meanwhile, Fajardo, a five-time MVP, said he is grateful that his team has such faith in him.
