PVL Open Conference title

The Creamline Cool Smashers will be aiming to defend their Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference title as the 2019 season kicks off this weekend August 11, at the San Juan Arena.
Creamline outside hitter Alyssa Valdez admitted their defeat in the PVL Reinforced Conference was an “eye opener.”
“We have to restart from last conference na natalo—ang daming nangyari, ang daming realizations (We have to restart from the last conference, where he lost—a lot happened, there were a lot of realizations),” she said. “We’re really excited kung ano ang mangyayari sa amin this conference (We’re really excited for what happens for us in this conference).”
Joining Valdez on the Creamline roster are Julia Morado, Michele Gumabao, Risa Sato, Pau Soriano, Rizza Mandapat, Jema Galanza, Rosemarie Vargas, Kyla Atienza, Coleen Bravo, Celine Domingo, Heather Guino-o, and Kyle Negrito.
The team also includes Bacolodnon players Mellisa Gohing and Fille Cainglet-Cayetano.
The team will be playing two Open Conference matches in the Western Visayas in October, heading to Iloilo City on October 5 and Bacolod City on October 13./ASC, WDJ
