Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson yesterday urged the opposing camps of the ongoing conflict within Vallacar Transit Inc., parent company of the Ceres bus liner, to settle their dispute, especially after thousands were stranded last Wednesday at the Bacolod South Terminal.
The governor said he hopes the court, which is currently handling the dispute, comes to a resolution.
“There should be a speedy trial to resolve the issues,” Lacson said.
He pointed out, any comments he makes would not quell a squabble between siblings and remained silent in hopes they would resolve the matter amicably.
“I’m calling on the family,” the governor said. “Don’t let this happen again because you assured us from the very beginning.”
“Please solve your issues amicably,” he added./DGB, WDJ
